Emergencies during our opening hours

If you and your pet find yourself in an emergency situation during our opening hours, please call your local branch so that we can ensure we are ready for your arrival.

Our opening hours

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 6.30pm

Saturday: 8.30am to 2.30pm

Sunday: Our Paisley branch is open between 9am to 1pm for emergencies.

Equine and farm emergencies

If you have an emergency at any time, please call us on 0141 8874111 (Paisley) or 01475 721155 (Greenock).

Your call will be answered by one of our reception team, who will advise you on how to proceed and can arrange for an on-call large animal vet to call you.

An on-call vet will then contact you and advise you on how to proceed. We will ensure you are kept updated on the estimated costs throughout the process.

Out of hours care

Our out of hours service is supplied by Vets Now in Glasgow.

If you have an emergency when we are closed, please contact Vets Now directly on 0141 328 7513.

You and your pet will be in safe hands with their experienced emergency team, who have access to a large veterinary hospital with modern intensive care facilities. We will of course remain in close contact with Vets Now if ongoing patient care is required.

Please be aware that you and your pet will be responsible for transporting your pet to and from Vets Now.

As a guide, Vets Now’s initial emergency consultation fee is £218 (including VAT). For further information, please visit their website.
